It was on 104 octane. We always race on race gas, and only use the water injection on 91 octane on street for daily driving for Arizona weather conditions.

Impressive Jason. I know how difficult is to break 11's there so all my credit to you. I will be racing there next time. I getting my coilovers install this week so that I can have decent traction.

By the way, a very good friend of mine just bought a use E55 AMG. Don't be surprise if I contacte you soon to get some tips on modding the E55 .

Take care!

Carlos

Man, that makes my stomach churn.

Look at my timeslip and how important that little bit of extra power was for you (left lane trap speed was 2+ mph off this day). Whoever said 1/100th of a second wasn't important? Hell, even 1/1000th!

Dragstrip 101 courtesy of War. Didn't know there was so much of a science to running that low 12.

I think 92 was 12.20's with my Syclone. 93 was 13.00's with the 93 Talon. 94 was 12.50's with the same Talon, and 95 was 11's in the same car. Full weight car and all stock engine with just bolt ons. Parts were minimal back then. You had to fabricate IC pipes and your own DP and exhaust if you wanted any flow better than a Walker Dynomax of HKS system.
Cars were fun to drive back then, and cheap to maintain.
In todays world with all that is available for the EVO. Its light years ahead of a decade ago. The average Joe can plunk down some cash, bolt it all up, get it flashed and if skills permit, haul ***. Even skills withstanding, still haul ***.
