The ECU is OEM, But I do not have the car in hand just yet. Still 2 1/2 weeks till im home from Iraq. I cant wait to get back to real food ( in n out lol), a real bed/house, family, and a real car. There are 2 cars im looking at right now. the 1st being a WW Evo IX being sold by Evil Evo in the For sale forums, and the second is an '05 WW located in temecula from gonein420 or something like that. Have any of you ever seen his car, or met the guy? If so, Is it worth the 24 that he is asking? Those are my choices. I love the WW for some reason, my last evo was GG. Anyways, If anything, Ill probably end up waiting till I have a free weekend and take it up to Al at TT.

There is actually a thread in the how-to section that shows how to turn your Test Pipe into making it look like a cat. Other than that, I really never had any issues with blue shirts with a TP. If they get you, they just want you to show them you have the stock cat and can pass emmissions.

 

got the car back today, not quite done, lil white smoke on idle, a lil leak from my oil feed line to my turbo and the engine is very loud idk if it the combo of no balance shafts and big cams or what, Just a bunch of stupid sh-it that i can fix. All i need is a full tune. The car feels stupid strong at 8lbs and a redline of 5k stupid engine break in period. Bobby guess you need a stock ecm car huh, cause my beast is up for sale too.

youll like it out here. im in baghdad right now (navy also) working with a civil affairs battalion doing their commo. (im an IT2). I couldnt have had a better tour out here. Im on Camp Liberty, did the whole Sadr City thing and even got my CAB for being bombed and received a concussion. no purple heart for a concussion though. ive been through alot out here, but its quiet now. that was back in April/May timeframe. what are you going to be doing out here?

i our asst battalion ewo. i load the fills and whatnot. we just recently got rid of all the m1151's for Mraps and Cougars. they are pain in the A..... everything has really slowed down out here though and i think there are like 2 incidents a month now. just 2. when i first got here it was in the hundreds...

 

not really worried about it, not my first time in country. So what did you think of my car.

 

loving it, but theres too much done to it. I like to have that satisfaction sometimes of the DIY method. ill keep it in mind though. There is a guy from AZ that has a WW 06 im looking at for 29. im looking to rally when i take it with me to Italy.
