Track in AZ

Anyone been to either track lately? Has it been very busy? Now that it's cool out again, I think I want to head out to see what my car will do after I bolt on the rest of my exhaust and install the boost controller I just got. I haven't run since it was bone stock.

Now that forum is dead..

yeah most of the track events has been sold out lately at PIR and FIR.
Got to register early. I think the next one for HPDE1 is at the FIR parking lot.
Are you talking about drags or? If so.. then I wouldn't know much...

Wow, a response. Sorry I havent checked back lately, this forum never gets action from the AZ guys. I was talking about drag, but I will try HPDE this year. Is it still about $140 for a couple 20 min. sessions?

Hey Gaijin,

What's the word on a Firebird run for you? Is this going to happen sometime soon? I think Ram is going to run his newly tuned monster down the track a few times this Friday. Get your shiz together and let's see if we can get a few guys there this time.

, Are you kidding me? I must disagree, AZ evo community is indeed one of the best around the country, we do know each other very well and we do have many many events all the times. Where have you been?

I was in Phoenix 2 weeks ago at the Hot Import night and saw a bunch on Phoenix Evo friends and remember I live in Tucson. It might be that you go coincidently when no one else goes but I always find people everywheer(car shows, SIR, PIR, car meetings)

Douglas,

I am up for it. I have been contacted by you, by Ram and by Mike (all you from Phoenix). As soon as I am done with this 12 hour shift 7 days a week(eventually will end this week) I will be there as always. Hope to see you guys.

Neeedless to say I will bring more Evo owners as always.

Carlos

Me and Socorro (Evo9grl) were going to do a road course at PIR but you had to be registered by 530am. I was working until 0030 that night plus the one hour drive so we bailed from the event.

Again, I was invited to go, Karma from Phoenix called me. This proves again that Tucson Evo members and Phoenix Evo members are indeed very well organized despite the 100-120 miles gap.

Doug,

You know it's definately never a sure thing, but all I can tell you is soon brother. We are working out the final kinks I hope and then down to the track we go. I haven't personally had a chance to drive it yet, but from what I hear at 30% throttle, only wastegate boost and without revving very high it's already a monster so I'm giddy with anticipation (and a little scared).

Thanks bro. Just went out and bought two copies. The guy that wrote the article said that if I emailed him he'd get me a copy, but I couldn't wait. Car looks pretty good I must say and they didn't even misspell my name.
