Why would the prices go up for an 06' model ? I would think Mitsu would want these gone like all other 06's and offer better incentives as we move further into 07' Isnt this common practice for all the car brands these days?? Please correct me if I am wrong.

 

supply is low , demand is high

no more evo 9s being made / evo x not coming out until sometime in 2008

mitsu will probably offer incentives on other 06 models that dont sell to make room for new 07s, but the evo should bring in msrp + as the stock dwindles on a great car

 

I cant wait to go there and pick up my GSR!

he's right. the RS model was $1000 less months ago and they increased the price due to rarity. Still a good price though!!!

now if it's sitting there and nobody is buying then prices will go down.

 

I picked up a GG MR from South Coast yesterday and all I can say is "Best car buying experience EVER". Mike S. and his people at South Coast really took excellent care of me. There was no bs haggling, no pressure, no hassle. I would wholeheartledly recommend getting your EVO there or any other car they have in stock for that matter.
