1/6/2007 Flagstaff Cruise

So it seems theres interest in a lil Flagstaff trip, so waddaya say? Once there, we can hit up some of the downtown shops, check out the snow bowl, find some fun lil back roads, or just grab some red lobster and head back home, or alternatively lot 59 for the weekly meet.
Meet location is Arizona Mills' Gameworks/Harkins/IMAX parking lot. Look for the red evo!

Meet time is 0700 and we head out ~0730-0745. Call ahead if your cutting it close. My number is at the bottom of the post.

Who's coming so far...

1. azredevo
2. maxxamillion
3. darkrex
4. SURPRISE_TR (NASIOC)
5. Wolf28
6. 22bsport (in flagstaff) (NASIOC)

EDIT: Red lobster is the eatery of choice, or so the flagstaff guys are saying, so let's do it!

EDIT 2: red lobster opens at 11 am so if we pace our selves a little bit, we should get there around the time they open.

address and number for red lobster
2500 S. BEULAH BLVD
FLAGSTAFF AZ 86001
(928) 556-9604

EDIT 2.1 since it doesn't seem like anyone's meeting from the far east valley, were just meeting at az mills in the harkins/imax/gameworks parking lot. I should be there early, so look for the red evo. meet time is 7 am. we'll roll out around 7:30-7:45 ish so bring some breakfast for the wait in the parking lot.

Edit 3:

This is our semi-permanent route ladies and gentlemen. unless it's snowed in or something crazy like that. I'm going to print a ton of copies of the route, so noone gets lost! i WILL ALSO BE PRINTING RETURN TRIP MAPS. It takes a long time to edit stuff on here, so i will have them ready when we meet up!

Shoot, having to drive from Maricopa every day you'd think you'd be sick of driving

Damn I wish I still lived in Phoenix. The rt. you just described is probably one of the best drives in the country.

Yuppers, good ol' Simpson's. I'm going to be out of town, but my evo isn't a long distance cruiser. I'm going to try and start making the lot 59 meet though.

I went to mt. Lemmon last night, and my tyres do not work AT ANY SPEED OVER 5 MPH in the snow. Anyone have some 235/45/17's all season or snow tyres they'd be willing to sell/lend me for the trip?

Hey guys, consider Mount Lemmon drive/cruise, we just came from there today and there were feets of snow. i took more than 150 pictures. Mount Lemmon is much much closer than Flaggstaff.

I was just throwing an idea.
