EDO Performance: Grand Opening in Huntington Beach, CA
Greetings EvoM Members!
I am proud to announce the Grand Opening of EDO Performance in Huntington Beach. As some of you may know, now, we are the primary distributors of Defi, Power Enterprise, and Tomei . But in addition to that, we are now moving towards the direction of providing services for the community, and therefore, we have decided to introduce our shop side to provide services!
In light of this event, the staff at EDO Performance in Huntington Beach would like to invite the community to come by and check out our shop. We would be interested in doing a community event and have the members in the area participate. As of right now, there isn't anything planned, and so I would like to turn to the community for ideas. Current ideas that have been introduced thus far are "meet and drive" and "shop day." The office we have isn't all that big, BUT I am sure that we can make the most out of whatever space we have.
Below are some pictures of what the shop looks like. We encourage everyone to come in and take a look of the shop and meet the staff. Currently, the office is occupied by Kent, Edwin, Robin, Carlos, and Robert (and I, the person creating this post, will be there for the month of April). We got lots of stuff at the Huntington Beach location, so if there's something you need, stop by and see if we have it!

as of right now, we are postponing the grand opening event for a couple of weeks. we might reschedule to May 5th due to some events that came up. Nevertheless, if anyone wants to stop by tomorrow, I'll be here. But just no party. not yet.

Hello everyone,
We, at EDO Performance, woud like to invite the EVO Community to join us in our Grand Opening Event this Saturday, May 5, 2007. The event is to take place from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

16182 Gothard St. Unit P (In the back)
Huntington Beach, CA 92647 (next to the public storage)
We would like to have a big event for the Grand Opening of EDO performance in Huntington Beach. With the recent success of the Prodrive meet, and previous install days, we would like to follow in their footsteps and thus host an install & potluck/BBQ meet!
The meet is set for Saturday, May 5th @9:00AM
Special Event: The EDO EV Car will be available to drive!

What we plan to do is allow members with valid driver's license and insurance to drive the car. No one under 17 will be allowed to drive the car. Also, for those that want to drive the EV car, it will be our discression who can and cannot drive. This means, if the person is clearly too large to fit in the car (height and/or weight wise), we cannot allow them to drive it. The last thing we want is someone to get stuck in the car. There will be no sign up for driving the car, it will be first come first serve. There will 2 driving sessions, the first being probably an hour and the second will probably be 30 minutes to 45 minutes depending on the capability of the battery. Since the car is small and will more than likely be driven quite hard, IWecannot guarantee everyone will be able to get a turn if the battery life doesn't meet our expectations. I will allocate a certain area on the parking lot for the car to be driven on. There will be some guidelines to follow.
One last thing, We will have liability waivers that must be signed by everyone driving the car. It will basically state that it is driven at your own risk and that if anything is damaged (like someone decides to drive it into a wall, they must pay for damages and have the car restored to prior condition. This is to discourage stupid and wreckless driving)
Also for mechanics and basically anyone that steps into the bay, there will also be liability waivers for you as well, in case a car falls on you and you die...hahaha....*knock on wood*
We plan to have a raffle, car washes/details, installs, potluck/bbq, and maybe some video games and poker on the side.

Evan may be able to get someone to do Paintless Dent Removals, PM ibiduc for prices and info!
FENDER ROLLING FOR $10 A SIDE NOW AVAILABLE!!!!
NEW INFO FOR FENDER ROLLING!!!! THERE WILL BE A WAIVER FOR YOU TO SIGN AS WELL STATING THAT ANY DAMAGE DONE TO YOUR CAR IS YOUR FAULT! BASICALLY, THE $10 A SIDE IS ONLY FOR USE OF THE TOOL (doing fender rolling is actually very easy, you just need the expensive tool and the directions)
Next up we need people to step up and help us out by bringing/providing:
1. Food/Drinks/Coolers
2. Knowledgable Mechanics/Tools
3. TVs/PS2s/Gran Turismo 3 or other games/controllers and steering wheels
4. Other stuff such as cards or tables or etc....

1. NO alcohol on the premises at all.
2. For installs, ONLY EASY-TO-MODERATE INSTALLS! Preferably nothing that will take more than 30-45 minutes. HID installs can be done outdoors. We only have a limited # of bays to work in so please no coilovers/turboback/steering wheel/seats or ridiculous installs like engine swaps or stage 4 conversions...
3. Be mindful of the property. (No loud music, revving, throwing cig buds everywhere, etc)
4. Most importantly, HELP whenever you can please. We are a great community and lets keep it that way.
5. Finally, NO DRAMA, you got beef or you don't like someone, don't bring your problems in here and ruin everyone else's good time.
