The only meet I've gone too was the South Coast Mitsubishi meet for the Evo X release earlier this year.

I'd be down to do a meet on the weekend if we can get half a dozen people or so

Definitely have heard of Ultimate Racing and I was actually considering getting a turboback from them when I was doing my initial Evo research. The original owner of my car ended up installing the Apexi and I've been happy with it, so no need to change.

And yeah, I would recommend starting a new thread if you want to meetup with active socal Evo owners. Also, this forum is a wealth of information for recommended parts and performance changes. Search whatever you're interested in and it's probably there already Have fun with your X!

What's up, new member here and planning on picking up my 2014 evo x tomorrow. Just wanted to introduce myself and hope to see some fellow Orange County members around and go to some meets in the near future. Really excited to join the family and glad I saw someone post about socal evo site. Will post pics soon. Peace

I'm planning on getting hks hi power, sounds amazing, and in the end it's hks, so you know your getting a quality product.

It all depends on what your looking for though. Akrapovic sounds the best hands down but waaaaaaay too expensive for my blood. We're not Ferrari owners! Not yet I should say for me .

Do your research and balance hp gains and what tone you want. Quiet or loud? Just depends on you. I'll be getting my hks hi power and will post up vids and pics after I have it installed

ive actually purchased used ARK DT-S exhaust from someone local.
he had the test pipe as well! but the exhaust is way too quiet for my taste.. im thinking about selling the exhaust and purchase a Q300? im not looking for anything loud like single exit, no resonator status but a good meaty sound is what im looking for.

Check out speed circuit also and greddy exhaust sounds good also. Just depends on you. Hks hi power is my favorite, just my personal opinion. And it sounds like it's the kind of sound level and tone you want. Some people don't like how it looks which is respectable, but I love it! I'll post some vids when I get it on next Tuesday the wait is killing me. I understand your predicament. It took me forever to settle on the hks.
