I was wondering if we (owner of Mitsubishi) have a regular meet? If not, should we start one?

 

Hell yah we should! But again, it depends on the location and day of the meet.. LoL!

 

Let's round up some people, pick a spot and rip the road.... Anyone else interested in this forum????

Ahhhh you guys all got evos and I only have a lowly AT OZ... I'd still be interested to meet up with you guys though depending on the place and time. I would love to check out some evos, the only one i've seen is in the concord showroom.

Anyways, what about a friday night? or a saturday? weekdays are kind of tuff cuz of school and work...

Also, where you guys from so that we could find somewhere not too far away, maybe somewhere in the middle like San Ramon, hercules, or concord.

Not sure how cool the people are at these places, but it could be a possibility.

Dublin (i think) where the IMAX is. Off of 580 near the 680 interchange.

Concord - Maybe either at the century 25 or perhaps at the mall in pleasant hill.

Hercules - The L&L restraunt(great local hawaiian food) right off of 4.

Antioch (if yer down to travel) - Either at the Deer valley shopping center or at the Safeway on hilcrest (I heard the muscle cars gather there on friday nights.)

Union city - At the theaters there. I think there is a group of wrx owners that gather there during the weekday.

Anyways, just some suggestions....

 

Kinda Far for you guys, but Every Sat here in Sacramento, My site www.clubdiamond.org and My buddies site Sac-DSM get together and have a massive meet about 30 Deep. And that's EVERY weekend.

If you guys want to organize a weekly meet in your area, your more then welcome to discuss it and organize it on the ClubDiamond.org forums.

Hell, if you want, PM me and we can find a spot for all of us to kick it, one Sat. I'm sure my members would be down for a change in scenery... We could help you kick off your BayArea meets.

It will have to be after the Mitsubishi West Coast Gathering coming up this August 8-10th though.

What timing. I was thinking about making a Bay Area EVO Club web site. I was just going to make it a forum for now(not as big as this one of course) where we could at the very least talk about meeting up, post up pics of the meets, etc.

Is this a good or bad idea? Think that EvolutionM forums are good enough?

 

im down for a meet... but unfortunantely i work fri-sun 12pm-2am soooo i might not be able to make it if its on those days.. unless its early..... and i dont have an EVO but i'd love to come out anyways... im in san jose and hopefully wont have to drive no more then 40 mins to the meets or we'll see.. but yeah count me in if the day and time is right =D

Since no one has volunteered to put up a time and place, I might as well do so.

Here is what I propose (feel free to donate your 2 cents).

Place:
TGI Fridays in Vallco Shopping Mall, Cupertino right off of 280.

Date & Time:
Saturday, August 9th, 1.00pm

I figure we can hang out for a while (maybe an hour or two) and then take a "spirited drive" somewhere to be decided.

If you guys have any kind of suggestions on where you would like to drive, please suggest away.

 

yea, we should have a meet at in' n' out(tully and capitol), maybe on wednesdays or thursdays. I know theres alot of bay area evo owners out there now.

 

I think we need to pick a place more in the middle.. unless people just want to do a south bay and an eastbay type of meet.... It might be easier that way... anyways, if we all want to meet up perhaps in a place like dublin or san ramon. I think its about 40 mins from sanjose, and about 30 to 40 from where I live Antioch. I think our best bet is at the IMAX theaters off of 580.... anyways, lets decide on a place....

Also, to antioch / concord area.. where do you guys usually chill? perhaps we could get together or something...

 

I think we should settle on which day of the week first before anyone can say 'yes' or 'no'. Mostly likely, I would prefer weekdays. From there, we can decide or vote for the location.

try the days from thu to sat nights since most of the people here works on the weekday and it will give some chances for the people that works on the weekend to go also as for me theres about 3 evos that i know here in santa cruz and a couple of them i saw driving around.how about d&b in milpitas since it has a good atmosphere for the import enthusiasts.
