I have a degree... in music education. Should I:
A) pursue the credential that is needed to get a job with that degree?
or
B) wipe my @$$ with the degree and earn another?

Can't answer that one for you. Just know this. There's no money in education. If you're after money then you need to work in money. Case in point. Friend of mine just earned his masters in Economics and is a junior analyst at Smith Barney. Starting salary 180,000 plus bonuses.

Me, I'm not really into money. I've just been fortunate and seized all the opportunities available. Probably did step on a few people. Can't make omelets without breaking a few eggs.

That wasn't much help was it. Hahaha

How about some sagely advice. One must follow what one's heart desires.

Yeah, I'll be poor but rich in happiness. Truth be told, I hope to enjoy teaching even though I'll be driving import econoboxes all my life. It is already a fullfilling position, and I do know I can make 100k in the right college position.

But yeah Billy, electronics seems to be a good field too. I just paid some guy $500 to plug his laptop into my car for 15 minutes. $2,000 an hour ain't bad, is it?
