Drag Racing Reno on the 21st

From what I can tell this is the closest track to Reno and it looks like it could be a fun late night drag. Was thinking of running my EVO and seeing what the stock turbo can do at higher elevation.

Are any other people on here going to be out there?

The night drags at RFR are fun...a wide assortment of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Lots of people and reasonable prices. The track is actually the straightaway part of the road course...so it's slightly uphill...other than that..it's great. I might be there with a couple of evos...we'll keep an eye out for ya.

Well what a interesting night for drag racing. With the track being up hill, head wind and 4500ft elevation my best pass was 11.6@122mph. spinning hard out of the hole. Car runs around 11.0-11.2@125-126 in this trim at home.

The track its self was the closest thing to street racing I have seen in a long time. Being able to run with no helmet and have my Wife ride shot gun which she has never done before at the track. Out of my 1000's of passes over the years this will make for one track night to remember.

Was also great to meet all you guys out there. Sorry I suck with names but it was a pleasure to talk with you guys for a bit. Was more import action out there then I thought there would be.

I may have to plan another tirp some day to really see what my car can run at 4500ft at the other leagal NHRA track and also do this track again so my wife can enjoy the racing.

Your car looked awesome down the track! Saw it twice and it was a beast. Too bad I didnt get a chance to talk to ya and see your setup. I was crazy busy with dialing in my car with a new setup car and my buddies diesel truck. Hope to see ya again in fernley or fallon.
