Lightbulb If you are planning to buy a new evo soon please read.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to see how many people in the California (SoCal) area are planning to buy a new Evo in the next few months. Or say around late Sept - Oct. If your farther away but willing to drive for the deal that would be great to.

The reason being is today I went to talk to the local dealer near my house. They informed me today that they are one of the leaders in total Evos sold and that they can order the exact model you want with the options you want. They also said they can sell at MSRP.

Now here is the kicker. I asked the internet fleet sales person what kind of a deal they would give, should 5 or more of us walk in on the same day and all drive away with Evos. She said she would talk to the owner of the dealership and see what she could do. I asked that it be at least $500 off MSRP if not something like $1000-$700 off. She said she would see what she can do and get back to me. I also told her I would be talking to other dealerships to see who would make us the best deal.

So I am trying to gauge demand here to see if anyone is intersested in doing this. If anyone wants to get in on this please post here or PM me with when is a good time for you to attempt this. For me sometime in Late September or any time in October would be good since that gives me time to save up a little more for a nice fat down payment on the car.

I think this has a really good chance of working should we get a group of people to do it. I want to also suggest to her that the more people we get onboard for this that they take more money off the cars cost. Or at least throw in something like PitPass or extended warrenty. If you are planning on buying one before that I would even suggest that you wait and see if this works out. There is strength in numbers so the more people we bring the better the deal should be. It will even give ya more time to save up for a larger down payment!

Heck just the idea of watching 5+ Evos leave the lot at the same time would be awsome. We could do a drive up the coast and get some food and drinks to celebrate. That is if anyone is going to be willing to leave their car long enough to do those things!
