D1 Drift and Car Show
Hey guys and gals, just wanted to let everyone know that this sunday there is going to be an awesome show up at the Irwindale Speedway. Here is all the event info from off the site they have for this (www.d1gp.com)

We will be setting up a temporary D1 competition course in the middle of the ½ oval. The grandstands will provide an awesome view of the entire competition. In addition to the world class drifting competition, there will be plenty of things to see and do, including:
Car show
D1 umbrella girls
Autograph signings with D1 drivers and other Japanese motorsports celebrities such as JGTC driver and D1 announcer, Keiich Tsuchiya, aka the Drift King
Live Drift Car Build-Up by Import Tuner Magazine
Vendor midway
Cars from Japan
Action Sports Demonstrations
Car show entry - $40 (includes car spot and 2 tickets) Ticket - $20
Event Schedule (tentative)
8:00am vendor/sponsor set-up begins
10:00am car show roll-in begins
2:00pm vendor/sponsor & car show set-up ends
3:00pm gates open to public
4:00pm car show judging begins
5:00pm to 6:00pm D1 group one practice session
6:00pm to 7:00pm D1 group two practice session
7:30pm to 9:30pm D1 competition
9:30pm awards ceremony
10:00pm event ends

i'll be there( bought the tics already), and i'll definately take lots of picture off all you guys' cars, especially the EVOs! yeah, since i can't have one., might as well enjoy you guys' rides. i'll be heading up there with my boy in his WRX...i know,i know!! his car is pretty tight though, i mean not to flashy but he's putting about +250 whp, so he says! well anyways, hope to see you evolved members there, i'm just a newbie, so expect to get some questions from me! peace!!
