I was just on our Honeymoon trip out in Kauai. I saw a red eight or nine evo with no spoiler. Removed maybe? possible RS. I was going the opposite direcition but, sounded real nice. Really made me hate the mustang that I was driving... Anyways, I was near the town of Kapaa' very nice car evo! This is my second trip out to Kauai but, my 5-6th trip to islands.

Never hurts to ask lol. Also, are you or do you know of anyone that's looking for a DRL bypass for any 08+ Lancers/RA/Evos? I got one extra that I'm trying to sell. It's for relaying ballasts for HIDs and eliminating the DRLs we have on our cars.

 

LOL yea theres a little more now a days but im still the only one with the apex silver evo 8 on the island. Sucks when your boss knows wat car you drive.

 

hey guys new guy here.. I think I met some of guys on a Friday night.. but anyway I had a question.. I went out couple nights ago and I had it in 3rd and didn't realize I was doing 7600-7700 on the tach.. so I'm just wondering if my car all good or should I have it checked out? nothings wrong with the car but its is my first evo and first very expensive car.. thanks!

 

First, a couple of questions? Did you just buy the car? Do you know if it was tuned? 7700 is a safe rpm for stock motors as long as your car is tuned for it.

 

just bought the car lik 3 month ago.. pretty much all stock.. i was just wondering.. i mean ive read around and said that it was okay but i just wanna make sure you know.. sorry

 

Stock rev limiter on a X is 7800rpms you are good nothing happen. I hit the rev limiter a few times on my X no problems.

Yup...I still have few parts for sale. I was going to post on the Sales part of the forums but my internet at my house is down. I posted an updated list of my parts on EvoHi. The following is what I remember off hand but I might miss a few.

AMS Black intake, AMS Black upper intercooler pipe, HKS Hi-power exhaust, Perrin 3-port, AEM oil temp gauge, hood dampers, Red Samco Sports radiator hoses, Perrin 2" ant, and a Alpine dvd head unit.

im kinda in the market for the normal bolt-ons, nothing serious yet.. unless you guys have some suggestion on what i should get... any experinaces, sites, products i should check out.. ive looked around but theres alot to choose from and i wanna build it right the first time.. made that mistake with my civics..... but anyway im just looking for bolt-ons for now till i can get into the evo scene better.. i was looking at a injen intake with cobb hard pipe kit for starters...
