Widebands are only good if you are getting e-tune or road tune.

A lot of people will say that it is a must because you need to know what your air/fuel ratio is making sure your car isn't running lean or rich, but in reality when you are flooring your car you won't be paying attention to what a gauge is saying...you will be paying attention to the road in front of you. I personnally just let me AP do all the logging for me.

Just my .02 cents.

I use anti fouler for my test pipe. My pipe is 100% custom too. They work but the light will come on after a couple hundred miles and then go back off after 40 or so miles. But it does work

Hey guys, I'm looking to get rid of my stock ported exhaust manifold for Evo 8/9. I've decided to stop modding my Evo. Here's the info:

Feel free to spread the word and PM me with any reasonable offers.

IMO its not something that u need to have, i have one because i wanted to get into tuning my own car. I have a Zeitronix wideband n it has its own logger but u can piggy back it w/ Evo scan...my zeitronix is also Egt, boost capable so it has additional function. 6 years ago WB was so expensive now u can get one for about $200...

Anyone here use a wi-fi set up where you use your I-touch as the gauge?

i never tried it before with the itouch. heard they have it now. but from what I heard you need to pay for that app not really sure though.

I too have a wideband same as dee, reason why I had it was going to learn how to tune but I never got into it. I do use it for my boost and afr it was cheaper due to the fact that I dont need to by different gauges and I am not cluttered with so many gauges. I know have one gauge that can read 4 things now which was better.

Jose
Thanks. I'll look into it. Hey, were you able to sell all your parts?

But if you use the Ap or Openecu... it will never come one. I like this because when the light comes on I have to check and see what it is for and having the light come one every now and then for the rear 02 will just get me mad...lol

Yeah... the only reason I had one was because of when I did my e-tune. My AP had all the gauges read out that I needed. The AP is great in that area because it not only gives you a reading but it will also record the low and high reading.

Meets are tough for me. With the wife and kids, the times never seem to work out. I make it out when I can.

Well, (F.S.R.)Full Spectrum Racing is different from other teams. When we had our first meetup 6th april. we had guys bring thier evos out along with thier kids and girlfriends and wifes show up. WE understand that people cant make it every weekend. OUr golden rule for Full Spectrum Racing is to hold a meetup each weekend whether it be on friday or saturday(sometimes sunday) and talk about future events and activites and maybe go out for a night snack or dinner.

We have many applicants and cant wait to see everyone this weekend.
