Is it okay if we can get an estimate on parts before committing? I know the prices will be cheaper than before, but I just blew all my cash on tuition. Thanks for answering my questions Rob. Im super interested, but I may need to ask if someone would let me jump in their order to make the 0.5K requirement.

 

Im not speaking for everyone when I say this, but I think one container every 6 months wouldnt be so bad if you were looking for performance parts since we have tunes every so often as well.

 

Alright, here we go!!!

Since the last meet was such a good turn out, we will have another meet/cruise on Sunday the 29th to end this month. Meeting will be at the same spot. For people who was not in attendance during the last meet, we met up at the main NEX parking lot. Directly next to the main entrance. If you enter through the main entrance, we will be to the left.

We should be rolling out at 12:30 sharp so please dont be late. I highly encourage everyone to arrive around 12 noon or so. we will be heading to the north shore this time. If everyone agrees, we can stop to get some world famous Matsumoto shave ice. After that, the next stop will be Romy's or Giovani's for some Kahuku Shrimp/prawns. Then continue towards Kaneohe.
This cruise should take about 3-4 hours. Thats including rest/eating time.
This should be a very smooth and scenic route.

*Please arrive with at least half a tank of gas*

Absolutely! As soon as the vendor sets up the email address for inquires I am going to make sure I get it to you guys they will answer all of your questions regarding specific parts availability and exact pricing. Jumping in on someone else's order should be doable.. But it will have to be someone that you trust.. I say this because when the parts arrive the container will be offloaded at the port and brought to a location to be determined. At that time everyone would be notified by the vendor and myself with a date and time to pick up their bits. That being said, everyone will inspect their stuff for damages etc and sign for their pieces. This is the only real way to protect the vendor since they are not located on island.

Do-Luck lip should be too easy to get into this order we are working out the initial hardened timeline now.. So once it is set I will give you more details

A quick note on this, I have a meeting on Saturday (a week from today) to lock in the Hawaii side. Following this meeting everything should get locked in stone, so get your lists ready!

 

On another note... Car show at aloha stadium today... Noon - 1030pm... Anyone going? I may head over there to try and spark more interest in this... Anyone down to meet up?

I starting working on this list this morning... In no way is it "complete" because the vendor has agreed to hear all parts requests, BUT the list I have is 150 manufacturers long already! I can post a "highlight list" if you guys want a sneak peak??? This list would be mostly evo specific with wheel manufacturers added. The biggest issue is they sent me a super long list alphabetically... And the list includes manufacturers I have never heard of so I am going to each individual website, looking at their products, and then moving them into a respective "class" meaning VIP, evo/sti, Honda/Acura, Toyota, wheels, etc... It's very painstaking

Is there a brand or product in particular that you guys would like to see? If so I can check the list and if it's not included I am more than happy to ask the initial questions to attempt to get them added

 

In response to a few questions that have been raised here and on a few other forums...

There will be install specials on parts by a local shop on island.. We are working to get a body shop on board for paint and install of kits... And my meeting next weekend will be with a shop to do everything else.. From full motors, machining, etc

The other question that I was asked, which made me laugh, what am I getting out of this? The answer to that one is absolutely nothing! My kit was already ordered and will be here before this stuff arrives. I do have an affiliation to both the local shop and the mainland vendor, but I in no way will make any money from your orders! I saw this as an opportunity to help out the scene in Hawaii and decided that I thought I had the resources to make it happen.. So if it goes well, great, if it doesn't take off, then no sweat
