I assure you that my reading comprehension level is pretty high. I'm also pretty familiar with the aspect of "privilege and power" when it comes to generalizing marginalized groups. In case you forgot, I'm part of one of those said "marginalized groups", and I've dealt with those "aspects" my whole life. I don't need to "know more"....I already know enough. However, whatever motives, feelings, etc. lead to a generalization, it is still that: a generalization. So while I don't care WHO or WHAT is driving an Evo, I DO care when that same WHO or WHAT throws out the cliche "I don't date military guys", moments after complaining about
not being treated seriously as an Evo driver. Id be considered a bigot if time and time again I met tuner chicks who didn't know ****, and then decided that I wouldn't take ANY of them seriously based on those experiences. **** rubs females the wrong way. So how lame is it when we always here "I don't date military guys based on this, all military are *******s, etc."? It's pretty weak. I mean, look at me....I'm military and I'm a great guy ha. I'm sure you get pretty tired of people judging you as a person, but judging you based on pre-formulated ideas. Well, I hear every other day about people doing the same to military. I'm not one of those, "everybody hates the soldiers" whiners. I just hate hearing ANYBODY deliberately included or excluded from ANYTHING based on the actions of people who share similar traits. My wife says the same dumb ****. She's Colombian and always says, "I would have never married a Latino man cuz they are pigs". And I tell at her. To me that is pre-judging somebody before they even open their mouth. ****, based on MY personal experiences with psycho ex-gfs, I shouldn't have dated ANY chicks after like my 4th gf. But when I was single, I never tripped on chicks who wouldn't date military guys. To me, it was their loss. No different then somebody saying they wouldn't date me because I am black. If they wanted to God-mode and Pre-judge me based on my career or race, I didn't need them to party. Just like you don't need guys who won't take a female driver seriously to validate you. But I really don't care as much as my long *** typing might suggest. I just am a man who is on the toilet bored and who likes to argue.......and who doesn't like when he smells double-standard Doo Doo

Seriously. I posted about my experience with this ****ing group of people on these forums. That wasn't a rant about random *********...that was people on this forum who probably also complain about why there's no "chicks" in the club/forum.
It's hard to infer tone from text, so I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here. When I realized that it got waaaay off topic, I thought it would be better to have this discussion in a more appropriate setting. The tangent was partially my fault, yes, hence why I was trying to reign it in. If you really want to get into this, we can do that. I'm just asking that it not be on this particular board. But if you still want to have a go, let me know.
