engine service light
was just cruisin home form work and engine service light popped on. didnt notice anything wrong with anything all fluids are good. any ideas? should i just take to mitsu dealer? all help is much appreciated.
Error codes p0133- heated o2 sensor circuit slow response(sensor1) and p0219- engine overspeed condition...just read about the p0219 and says engine is basically screwed?? I was driving normal no over revving or anything.... :/. Also read if it is true p0219 you can't clear the code. But I did clear it

The 133 can be from multiple things.. boost leak, exhaust leak etc
The 219 is stored in DTC so the dealer will always be able to see it. At some point the car was bounced off the rev limiter or taken above redline .. could have a bent valve or worse.. or nothing at all... but I would just do a compression test to be safe

I understand it could have at some point been overreved but I had the car since sept and this is the first time the code popped up when I was driving 30mph. Wouldn't u think it woulda popped up awhile ago or is there really no saying. Also where would u recommend to get compression test done?
Hey any of you guys running a ets vta downpipe for the evo x? How is it? I just got my hands on some cash an I'm looking into exhaust.. I'm thinking ets vta dp, ets tp and a cpe cbe.. but I was wonderingif I did this chances of a cel coming on? I know for the test pipe I will but what about the dp?
