Anyone here run in the SCCA at the stadium? I'm planning on going this sunday. I've only tried it once way back in 05 at HRP so I'm a total noob.

 

I haven't tried scca yet, but I'm going to try when I get to sc, and my buddy Justin bought a 350z lol, I tried to get him to get an evo but he thinks the z is sexy..... Lol

 

Lol! Yet everyone has one. My old altima se-r would spank a lot of the 350's that went on the cruise it was hella funny to watch :P

+1 I think srt4's sound like ****. Like a wanna be diesel motor lol. Keep the evo sounding good.

 

I'll be there. Been running my WW X all season in STU. There is also another GG X that will be running in B Stock. Assume you are doing walk up reg as I didn't see you on the preregistration. You should both come out to Autocross! Let me know if you have any questions. Only 2 open races left this season, March 10 and March 31, then we have run-offs then break for summer. Next season will start in July.

 

I don't they necessarily sound like ****. But I think it's a different class of cars. I definately wouldn't want my Evo sounding like SRT-4

 

Yeah I love the way my ams exhaust sounds. None to very very little drone, sounds great, and only really "pops" when I put it in super sport lol. Other wise I love the sound of my evo just needs to be opened up a little more with a down pipe and test pipe

Ok I feel like a total newb cuz I have no idea what the scca is but it sounds fun..any one want to fill me in???

 

Scca is the national auto cross, they have it in the stadium parking lot on a couple Sundays a month or so. Oh and I put my new turbo in last night now to start tuning today, I'll post some numbers later today

 

So do you just show up and you can enter or how does that work?? I really want to try this...and my car is mostly stock just bought it like 2 weeks ago

 

They inspect your car and put you in a class and that's basically it from what I understand AND.......my car is dead....so now I'm stuck at Home Depot for the time being....
