I'm looking for the owners or who knows who owns these 3 evos on NCTAMS. One is an orange Evo, yes orange (looks like an 8) with "Greddy" fmic. a ww evo 8 looks stock and an Evo X. Just want to say hello, pm me so I can come by and check out your cars.

 

im in the Navy. dont know where im gonna be stationed. but wherever the submarines are ill be there. mines should be on the boat in 2 weeks but they are saying it will take about 45 days to get there. are there a lot of evo's in hawaii?

 

The answer to that question is f*CJ yeah there's a large import scene and even bigger Honda scene if your into little toys, but evo's, sties', wrong wheel drive srt4's and basically ss camaro, some bada$$ mustangs, a couple gtr's and vettes, but mainly the main intrest are evo's. Good luck when u guys get here, I'm currently building my batman EVO.

 

well thats good. i sold my turbo accord and once i drove the evo, havent looked back at a single honda since...except in the rear view. my wife and i will be getting there probably the beginning of the new year. ill be riding my bike until the evo comes providing it gets there in time.. im gonna need the 411 on what shops are good and which ones to avoid. just came off the dyno a few months back. im gonna talk to my tuner here in a few to see what adjustments i need to make before sending the car over. look forward to meeting you guys.

Some of the locals will chime in, but from what I'm told, there are none. Pretty much people specialize in some area of build/maintenance and they get together to fix or do whatever. EvoVIII808 rebuilt his whole engine, constant_boost has peeps that will take care of anything electrical.
So who's dyno and what did you make? I shot you an email eariler. My evo is at BR getting last of the mods on and tuned. Big thing is gas is 92 oct vice the 93 you're use to.

 

anyone have a tactrix 1.3 USB cable for an evo 8 for sale? please let me know if anything can i borrow it i'll send it back to you lmao i know people borrow sugar, salt but a tactrix cable please let me know

I finished the rebuild, and departed to the sweet land of Bahrain
Be here for a bit more, a few more parts on the way (Widebody/Wheels). Im all done with engine mods (I think) Looking for 600hp max power, but with a good daily 500hp. The rebuild was fun, and a complete success. Cant wait to get back home, break it in some more and then hit the dyno. Hell i might just do the inital breakin on a dyno. Thats just how much ***** i have haha.

nice bro!! i had the evo since 2006. got it stock and been moddin since..until that dark day in May 09 when the bearing spun. anyhow my buddy just pulled in over there on his boat. he has a widebody sti. pretty sick...but it aint no evo. but because of my harassin him, his wife now drives an evo x and he has the sti.
