btw.... that's an awesome sound while you were at wot on the main straights. I agree with everyone that these honda motors sounds like F1 at high revs. Sound is just simply amazing.
Questions for those that track your EVO's:

1)Since it's awd do you find yourself taking slightly different lines compared to rwd cars? Or do you take the same lines but gun it more on corners knowing you can drift it out and correct it with awd?

2)How does the sudden surge of power after 3K rpm affect the way you take turns on a roadcourse?

To me... definitely different lines. I dive into an early apex than a late one. A buddy of mine did a quick experiment on this on GT3 and we have to pick the Spoon S2K and run Laguna. We play it fair, and doing short cuts is a nono, basically, no cheating. Both of us have different driving style and I always came out with a better time. But nonetheless, you want grip, not drift on every corner.

I won't feel a surge because most of the time, I'm above 5krpm on a turn. I'm still used to my Honda shifting skillz where you shift more often to be on the power band. The Evo is totally the opposite and much more user friendly. LoL!
