The 12.2 was at 116 MPH. The funny thing is that we had just swapped in some 780cc injectors, taking the 660ccs out and just ran it. It was pig rich. This run was done with 20 psi and 100 octane. So Friday morning we went to Horsepower House to get a base line, 311 hp was all we had. The owner did say this dyno reads real low compared to Dynojet. Our air ful ratios were 10-9.9, after about 6 passes the car made 375 hp at the same boost. It feels like a whole new car. Next time the track is open were gonna try 28 psi and some race gas, hopefully another 120-130 more Horse power than the 12.20 pass. 11s should be easy.

I guess their dyno is a Mustang or a DynoDynamics. 116 mph equates to at least 400 whp on a dynojet. My best trap was 118 mph when i was out there but it was cooler. That was on 100 octane also with 390 whp Dynodynamics/450ish whp Dynojet. Trevotec what were the 60fts like. Sounds like a good 1.7 would of got you in the 11s. I guess I will have to bring my most aggressive tune on my return because 116 mph in the heat/elevation at 20psi is no joke. Should be a close race regardless.

Yes, theres is a Mustang Dyno. I did 1.9 60 fts pretty much every pass. I just got my Exedy Twin Disk in, shifts like crazy fast now, but launching is real tuff. Its gonna be pretty exciting racing you this time, might have to bring you a Rambo or Rocky t shift for you as a complimentary prize.

They are already making IE exclusionary laws. Oh no Nick will ownz me again. Liked how he explained how he won the race with his torque advantage despite being three cars in my rearview mirror. Stupid timing devices.

hey i told u that twin will make shifting faster. That ACT clutch don't cut it. Them 60 fts are a biaatttcccchhh at vegas speedway.Get them down and 11s are in ur future; Should be a real close race. BTW With the SAFC will you be able to get to ur desired boost levels w/o missfires etc.

Hey also i was not talkin s hit about u on LVracing scene. Trev just made a claim that I thought was outlandish. Beating a 10 sec Cobra is a heck of a feat but if he were on street tires I would have to say yes it can be done. 10 sec Cobras turn into 12 sec Cobras on Street tires.

Were running larger injectors now so hopefully it will run clean, And if not, I guess its built motor and stand alone time. The turbo Im running now should be enough to get me deep in the 10s.

He was on Nitto Drag radials, he missed 2 gears, But even if he didnt it would have been close but Im sure I would have still won. The street and the track are two different places. An AWD car has a huge advantage on the street if you know what your doing.

Being on Nittos on the street is okay but not close to the affect slicks have. Missing two gears is impossible to come back from IMO when you are racing a fast car. I missed a gear against you on the freeway and u owned me bad. I raced a pullied Cobra three times from a slow roll and when i missed a gear I could not gain back on him due to lag and he kept pace once my turbo spooled. however, when I hit all my gears I walked him at the top of third and crushed him all the way thru fourth 3-4 cars would be my estimate.

IE is going to get stallown3d! from what i'm reading.
yeah, the 60fts out there looked like 1.9/2.0 to me also.if you would've hit a 1.7,you guys whould of had 11's for sure on thursday.your shifting did look alot smoother out there also. but the car didn't look like it had alot of power like the other set up,but like you said,it still needed to be tuned.nice work james, and i beleave you'll be the only 11sec evo in town soon
