Heh, I know what you mean. There was a time in which I worked on the car every damn day but Im taking a long break and enjoying other things. I still ate alot when I worked on the car so thats not a new hobby. Im finally back in the gym which is cool, now if I can only get to bed at a decent hour. Staying up till 6 AM every morning kills me.

 

damn the IX is amazing. holy sh*t

upgrading to the IX turbo has been my plan since i heard about the upgrades it had over previous evo turbos. i just wanted to see how it would do against the white rabbit, tme 6.5, and 20g. since al says it better than anyother stockish turbo. im sold. im glad i havent bought my hotside yet. im just gonna get the IX turbo or IX-20g.

now someone needs to find out how to put the MIVEC on the VIII's.

 

Yeah the gym is in my future. Either that or a Coffin. The extra 30+ pounds and supersized wardrobe is not something I am proud of. I need to lose my Drew Carey Image.

 

Just get the Turbo Justin and see how it does.

 

Sounds like the 30R will be obsolete when these 20g 9s hit the aftermarket scene.

 

im gonna do that. is there a thread about the IX-20g??? what makes this worse when i first read about the IX turbo, buschur had just started on the original 21g. and was having problems wit the wheel fitting. i ask him if the bigger compressor housing of the IX would make it work. but i got no answer. i even ask him when he was hear in vegas at our meets about tryin the 21g again wit the IX turbo. again no answer. well.....i guess he heard me after all.

 

Justin it appears that the Evo 9 turbo might be able to put an evo 8 into the 11s quite comfortably. We need to see a couple on Evo 8s to really determine the actual capacity of that turbo. Who knows maybe this added power is a combination of Mivec,Turbo, and a redesigned head. Only time will tell. Save your cash and be patient. Get the other supporting mods first and get your car tuned before u step up. You and Cory have alot of catchin up to do. I think I will start a poll. Who will get into the 12s 1st. Cory,You,or Gaysey, or (John,lol 13sforever)

imma wait. until at least the IX turbo becomes easily availiable. if the IX-20g is ready by then too, with good numbers. ill get that. so i can be patient. i still need some other parts first.

as for the 12's. my car at its current level, is capiable of it. im sure of it. i just need to get my 60 ft times better. plus im still tryin to do the best i can on 91. so if i get out there and practice i think ill get the 12's. if i can get my 60's to a 1.8 or better im sure i can get 12's. as long as i dont f*ck up a shift
