Las Vegas Evo's
Buschur stage one gets you in the twelves for 1350 bucks. Too bad those twelves are on 94 and sea level. We get to work with 91 and 2200 feet and extreme heat. If you can get a honda into the twelves for cheaper than that... you da man.

B16a swap = $1800
Used Drag turbo kit= $1000
Clutch= $380
Slicks=$300
Total $3480, (but again thats in a $3000 Crx) and not a super nice, awd, cutting edge technology, Japanese sport sedan.

Yes, this is the car I nearly died in street racing someone in a WS-6 back in November of '01.

I get your point. But check this out.
Buschur stage 4 kit is $3999 and gets you 11's on stock turbo and block. Not bad really.
I was a big fan of civics at one time. But the high insurance cost and theft rate, I had a 2000 si, was killing me. The EVO only cost 15 dollars extra a month compared to the civic. That shocked the **** out of me.

(I would rather go fast that look and sound good).
How come no-one has the BR stage 4 here in town? No die hards?
As for Insurance, I pay $140 a month (full coverage) for both of my Civics (both daily drivers and are paid for). These here Evos have lots of potential for going fast, and they look clean bone stock. (Two of the reasons I like to read about them on the forums).
I might even buy an Evo some day, I earn anywhere from 2600 to 4800 a month, (depending on how busy I am) so I think I might be able to afford one. I'd put down a big down payment, so my monthly payments don't take 60 years to pay the car off.
Until then, I'll do my research.
