I'm going to find out the total cost. Once I do that I'm going to put togeather a propsal and send it out to a few places to see if it will gain any interest in Sponsorship. If so I'll see what I can do to get things organized. I might need some help so if anyone is interested in working with me on this let me know. If the 1st time goes well then maybe we can get it to be a regular thing.

Im down for that. Kris I would be into helping with that too. Maybe if we talk to the track and find out if we could do this on a monthly basis, they can bring down the price for us. Just let them know that we want to get something going locally and we pretty much will only be going to smmp. They might give us a break if its gauranteed money for them on a monthly basis. The only bad thing is if we dont get enough people to show up monthly. Im sure if we did some advertising, we would be good though. We could make fliers and take them to the autox days and stuff. Those guys would go. If we could somehow get the price down to 100 bucks a day, I bet TONS of people would go to these on a monthly basis. Hell they are paying like 50 bucks a month to cone dodge, why not 100 a month for a real track?

Just found out the total cost for 2 day weekend rental of the 2.2 config .... the 3.1 config is a LOT MORE ....

Total price with all the the additional stuff needed to run safely: $9,505.00

There is no way to do this efficiently without sponsors ... We would need at least 4 with one of them being a title sponsor.

Without sposors it would require 32 people willing to pay $300 for the two days. If any one knows of people they think would interested in sponsorship let me know and maybe I can work on putting something togeather.

Oh one other thing ... the above price dose not include corner workers or instructors.
