Clark made 344/344 on Dougs dyno with a evo IX with TBE, Forge MBC, on 91. The guy is no joke. He does like 3-6 cars a day at vivid.
Now if AMS does better consistantly, slap my face and put me to bed early.
this is with the Ecutek sofware which is the most simular to the "ECUflash" as you can get. So get what I'm saying?
In no way am I discrediting AMS. But I've seen what Clark can do first hand.

Easy to talk to and will actually tell you exactly what he is doing if your interested.
In other words, $150/hr for the tune and the education is priceless IMHO.

Doesnt ecutec require that $500 liscense? That and correct me if im wrong, but it locks the ecu so only the ecutec software can be used to retune the car later on. You get a ecutec flash and dont plan on doing anything else on your own, ecuflash cant read that ****e.
Personally, I think AMS would be THE BEST flash to get. As for me, Im doing it myself. Will take me longer, but I can extract every ounce of power before knock on a 91 and 100 map. Its just funner for me to learn it that way.

True to a point that you cant read ecutec flashes because they are coded. But there is a code breaker out there that you use with ECUflash to get the map off the ecu. I was reading a flash for someone recently that had been ecutec tuned and it was a non-issue to get his map with this breaker. I dont personaly think its fair to a customer to lock their ecu from them being able to make map adjustments or even see what has been flashed onto their car. I can see why i vender would want to do this but what if the flash acts up with our gas and changes need to be made? While this isnt an issue for me anymore i would hate to not be able to make adjustments if i had to.
I'm just saying that clark used the ecutec on the car he made 344/344. he will use whatever software you want. I'm glad AMS will tell you what you want but will they also use the cabe so you can change your own car later if you want? Just asking.

I got a date yo, so wont be out tonight. Mike Im pretty sure ams uses techtom, they may have swtiched to ecuflash. Either way, they dont lock maps so you can pull it once theyre done. Im just gonna pull Jesse's and compare it to mine when he gets flashed. My money is on mine being more aggresive by the time they come out here
