hey quick question whats everyones oil spressure at ideal and what everyones oil temp at ideal.
mine is 18psi when warm/ideal
175 temp at ideal
is that right?

 

18 psi sounds about right. Actually I think its supposed to be around 10 or a bit above that at idle. These things run low oil pressure at idle, found that out recently when my oil pump took a sh it. Oil light pops on anywhere below 9psi at idle. Temp depends on how hot it is outside and all that. Mine on factory gauge is usually between 80-90* celcius when warm. Thats 176* to 194* for us Americans

I knew Shep or TRE would have one of those layin around, glad they can hook you up man. Im sure any of the guys can slap that in for ya. Can always call Corey, and I know Steve has done it too.

yeah i had the same problem with my oil pump. mine took a **** to. i had to replace it. i was scared that my engine wasnt getting enough oil. just trying to find out what kind of numbers i should be looking at. before my oil pressure would be at 10psi. and about shep i figured he would be a cool guy b/c he hooked up some of the guys too. i have to give him a call back. thanks for your help guys. and as for the hole in the tcase i put JB WELD. JB WELD ftmfw.
