Las Vegas Evo's
come people dont hate on the new X. in the end its still an evo. would we be hating if we got the AYC from the beginning on the evo 8???? NO, we wouldnt.
yes we all wish mitsu would have just revamped and cleaned up the 4g, to run cleaner and more effiecient. which i believe they could have done. but they didnt. i guess this new evo will just have to grow on everyone. no one had absolute love for the 8 or 9's when they came out.
damn give it a chance its still an evo.

I would HIGHLY suggest Vivid over Doug. I could care less if you come to me, just dont go there because Im tired of hearing about how stupid he is. I have enough ammo at this point lol.
I haven't had an issue with Doug, he tuned my IX pretty good... I'm going to check out some X's this week, not sure what color though. I want to see them in person, I was thinking of Blue or Red this time... or White ah decisions.
Doug also tuned my IX. I only have Intake+exhaust and I'm making 320HP/330TQ.....no problems yet...I had it tuned in December. Trevor from Trevtec also did some work too. With these mod, those numbers cant be beaten...From a stock dyno of 248/240. I plan on going back once my cams FMIC and springs/valves are done, 400+ here i come! altho.. i would like to hop on a dynojet sometime

the red is hot... I dunno blue and white always seem dirty, but boy do i love my white evo...
Everything I've seen has the X winning it out on the roadcoarse and 1/4 mile times. Now that's comparing it to the JDM IX's with AYC. So what I'm saying is that they didn't really improve anything. Put a set of coilovers on a IX with ayc and X and I still think the IX will outperform it.
Someone earlier said something about an understeer problem with the IX, since when did the evo have an understeer problem. I think they're confusing it with the STi. Everything i've seen and just from some spirited driving i've always had more a$$ end sliding around than plow into turns.

i heard talk on this forum, other forums, and from car magazine saying that the new evo has no understeer now compared to the past 8 & 9s. but i personally always felt that my 9 was a very neutral car that tends to slide alot.
in the end i dont really care. im happy with what i have. i just wanna try out the AYC.
if i can affordable a X and a IX then more fun for me

who did your brakes, did they re lube the little gasket things? Have you bedded them properly. Theres lots of noise issues with our brakes, big brake kits really arent a solution.
