did anyone here in vegas modified there stock rear crash beam to fit with the jdm rear bumper???or did you guys just took it off completely??? i would like to keep the crash beam if possible.....need help....want to install the rear bump already.....
I've installed them before, its easiest to remove it completely, doesn't really serve a purpose at high impact collisions.. But to theres a good write up on evom, modifying, just cut the beam and weld corners, and place back on, either way works.. removing is just the best.

I was the yellow w/o a wing. It was my first time out to any event i was nervous. What issues were you having?

i modified mine. took the crash beam off then chopped it and welded it back . i think i took about 1.5" out of the center then welded it back and painted it. the only thing is i never put it on to see how well it worked . sill have it in storage. . if someone were to rear end me it might be a total loss seing as insurance companys might investigate. oh well.....
FYI these numbers are with stock airbox (k&n filter) and a high flow cat that i purchased from RRE a little over year ago.

yeah i dialed a 13.80 and ran a 13.83 i have my r/t consistently at .037 or .038. My last run i didn't slip my clutch and i bogged off the line plus i had trouble shifting into 2nd ( it grinded a little ) he won by .15 Oh well.
And ya the airhorn kinda freaked me out a little bit when I was plugging in the ecu haha.
