hey guys my car just got the p0420 code since my front o2 sen sor melted and i just wondering that i can be cause by front o2 sensor ? but my car got cat delete since i got my car and never get the code p0420 and that's the catalistic convertor effcientcy (bank 1 )below threshold , i 'm waiting for the new o2 sensor and i will install it , so any recommend for install the sensor and throwing the code in the same time

any recommend ?

Hey thank for the offer but I know its pretty simple I done it once myself but dont have anytime to do it myself cause of job and the fact I moving soon. If anything ill try to see if I can make time to do my brakes myself. And did you get all new rotors or did you turn ur old ones? I need to find a place that turn rotors. Can't afford to get new rotors right now.

 

Why wouldn't you take your car into a shop for maintenance? This is exactly what I want to do.

I haven't pm'd Dan; does he have/work for a shop here in town? I have no qualms about working on cars with individuals but if I'm going to drop off the car and work while I wait, I prefer to go to a place that does this professionally and has a business license.

Any suggestions?

So.. I need to know where I can take the new ride to get smog checked. It's not throwing any codes but does not have the cat anymore.. so of course, any stingy smog place would shut me down.. where do you all take yours?

 

as long as the check engine light isnt on, you should pass with ease....

 

i got all new ones , i went to ebay baby $250 shipping included. some people are saying that you shouldnt turn rotors even stockers, and i also read that you dont have to change rotors at all it was on a thread somewhere lol.

Valley of Fire national park about 30 min from vegas, we can meet at the pilot gas station on craig and I15. sat the 21st. bring what ever you want to eat and drink.

BTW maybe next week before sat, we can make a list to see whos bringing what as far as food or hookers one or the other lol.
