Yeah, I went also. Well, have to tell you, I was impressed with a harley crew cab SC. Ran high 13s. Wow. Consistant. Had drag radials. I know you have one. Nice.
A couple STIs running 14s. Sucky.
Two Evos. One ran 13.3 and 14.0 with a bad launch. Another Evo ran 14.1 with a weak launch.
About 3 SRT4's. One was a sponsored car, all stickered up. He ran high 15s. Bad driver. maybe they were tuning it. By the End of the night he broke into the 14s. A couple others with better drivers ran mid 14s.
There was an AMG Mercedes coupe. Don't know the model, but a V8 badge. Ran a super fast 13.0 with no launch in an auto.
Some fast CRX'S and integras. A Viper and Zo6 went at it. The Viper edged him out and ran high 11s.
But the quickest of the night that I saw was a WS6 Trans Am. Ran a high 10 and looked fully street legal. They kicked him off I guess.

There were traction problems it looked like. many cars did not hook up and had to feather the throttle, so many RWD/FWD ran slower than they should. It wasn't very crowded and was cold. It was fun and you get to see what cars can do that you are curious about. I wish there were 350Zs, RX8s, but none.

Alex took some pics. Post them Alex.

Thanks for the info!

Yeah, I know the Harley truck that you're talking about. It's a black 03..the guys name is Devon. He hasn't had that truck too long but has done lots of mods to it. I know it would smoke our Harley truck!

The 2 Evos that ran...anyone from here?

No, no one we knew. A black one must have had mods with a 13.3 where the STIs were in the 14s.

Yeah, the Harley truck was nice. It took on a new Lightning and beat it. It was close.

Oh, while you are here, should I rotate my tires now? I'm at 3000 miles right now. I don't corner hard, so the edges on the fronts look just as good as the back and I always keep the pressure right on. Should I wait another 500 miles? No big deal. I do it myself anyway.

Tom, it wouldn't hurt just to do it now.

Hey, don't make fun of Tom. He sounds as **** as me when it comes to keeping those wheels clean. One of my pet peeves is seeing brake dust on the wheels!!!!! I think I'm gonna get a long brush like he mentioned having to make it a little easier to get back behind there. I'm sick of cutting my hand on the disc brakes getting the inner rim clean. Oh, and by the way, I clean the discs too and spray down the fender wells every few days! Can you say obsessive compulsive?

Hey, I polished the back lower control arms. They are aluminum and they shine like chrome now. I did it because you can see them when driving behind the Evo. Looks mean and makes you look like you have massive $$$$ in suspension. Figured the weather is always nice and a once monthy quick polish will keep them looking nice.

Man, the things that come to mind when you're bored.

Oh, if you want your fender wells looking nice, after hosing them down, spray like Armor all or the like on the black plastic and it gives it that wet look. That's for serious detailing.

Tom is always giving me new ideas. I know what I'll be doing tomorrow.....

I'm always tinkering with the car when I'm bored. That's why I like these forums. It helps me feel comfident enough to know if I take the car apart, I have a backup if I have problems getting it back together.

Yep, that's exactly what I do to the fender wells. Keeps um looking like it's never been driven.

Well, I'm off to work.....

I just want to say it was nice meeting some of you guys on thursday and I was not able to go to MM. I also think I know the guy you guys are talking about with the black evo that hit the 13.3, he is on the team of a friend of mine.

Who will install them for you? I was thinking about them but don't know if alignment will be a problem.
