Part #1 Hey here is my objective take about the LV experience. It was a bitter sweet experience overall but I did have a good time and everybody was real cool. Me and James finally going at it was fun and I am happy my car was a lil faster/quicker.

Part#2 John your spirit and desire to be one of the fastest Evos in LV made talkin crap to you fun. However, all of the sudden giving up on a goal of low 12s with your Evo is beyond me. I did not start getting consistent low 12s with my 1+ Vishnu (equivelant to your setup) until about my 5th crack at the track. Track condition were not optimal and that new traffic light system was garbage. I saw other disappointed car owners freaking out about horrible 60 times that were unexplainable. I still do not know how I got that 2.6 60ft and beat a car that did 12.5 at 110 mph(STI) by 2-3 car lengths and my ET was 12.8 at 116 mph. The timing device set-up was suspect at best and they need to trash it. That was by far my best run and on film he had me by a fender on launch and his 60 ft was 1.7. Wierd!

 

You want to buy it? I think it will be for sale in stock trim real soon from what I have been reading. Tom these guys all have real clean aesthetically prominant Evos. All except for James he is more in our league when it comes to show and shine.

 

Part #3 So I really think some of the times were suspect at best and I feel you guys should call up the Speedway and complain. Isn't that the purpose of MM to stop the street racing in town. Putting up practice stoplight trees is a contradiction of there proposed intent IMO.

Part#5 James thanx for being a good sport and being cool about everything. Like I said your car is no slouch and a force to be reckoned with. Man does your wastegate and bov sound mean. Next time I come to town I will let you know and we can run again. If I lose it will not mean that my car is slow it will just mean that you are faster.

 

Part#5 Bitter overall track experience. Waited 6 sec for my light to turn green however the race had all ready started. I do not understand how I could redlight when I barely staged and the green light immediately came on for my opponent. This system had me baffled and is was straight BS. My best et was 12.1 and my best Mph was 118 mph. for people that think that I am making excuses so be it. But let me tell everybody that did not run that night my excuses are valid and there were a ton of unexplained high 60 ft times from several people at the track.
