Don't buy another oem clutch. Get either a Exedy twin or at least a single. I have no idea why you would want anything other than a twin with the power your making? Logic Performance can get you a great price tell them Casey sent you

When I launched for the 13s.. I F'up really bad.. the 1st time tires wouldn't grip and missed 2nd.. 2nd time Tires caught grip but not at the right rpms and I Bogged!..

I dont want to spend the excess money for a aftermarket clutch when my clutch is still pretty good.. Its grabbing and holding all that power. but once i hit 11s.. I'm done for the track and I'll just be saving up cash and tear & wear on the car..

Yes I know I have been there. One *** up and still in the 12s but two low 13s. I was just trying to enunciate that ur normal runs were going to be deep into the 12s. BTW If u plan on 11s on the stock clutch good luck. I am not saying it can't be done but stock clutches do not like big power.
As far as ur driving style u do need to shift a lil above 7000 rpm with your set-up and the 3-4 shift is most crucial for great times. Cams push ur power to the top end and above 6500 rpm there is power.
Also Smoggy used to just dump the stock clutch when he raced at the track and his clutch lasted 25 k + miles with several drag launches. FWIW I have over 100 launches on my Cusco Twin and it still is holding power for some reason.

I hear you, but the next stock clutch may not hold as long as your current one.

Carbon is best. Also look at it this way. Say you can get 50 drag runs out of the oem clutch and over 150 on an aftermarket one. That would cover the extra cost.

Oh I guess I thought $$$ grew on Trees?? But Still trying to figure out to go with Cusco or Exedy.. ? If Cusco can handle IE's monster.. then I'm leaning towards that one.. I'm still going to run the Next MM with my current clutch... as long as I take car of it. like i usually do.. it should last..
