I was wondering if there was any interest in organizing a meet in Big Bear within the next couple of months. We tried this last year and had a poor turnout. So before too much planning goes into this I would want to get a feel for the interest first. This would be for anyone in SoCal that wants to meet up and not limited to Evos….so your buddy with the civic can come to! lol Seriously though, the more cars the better! We can park in the back of the public parking area in the middle of the Village for photos. It’s a safe place to park and we’ve never had any problems there the dozens of times we’ve gone. We could also find a place on the lake where we could all set up for photos. We would set a time to meet at the village and the desert folks would drive up the Lucerne Valley side and the IE guys can take the 330 side, or however you make your way up there, and meet up at the village at the designated time.

I was thinking about a tentative date of Saturday, June 13th. By that time, the weather up in Big Bear should be really nice and this gives everyone plenty of time to plan. This is not exclusively my event so I’m open to any and all suggestions to make this a great event. In the mean time I will see what I can do to peak some interest in so vendors/shops to get them out there as well.

Anyone think they might like to do this?

 

I never done anything like that, drive a RA, and I think it would be fun!

I might be interested. I really wouldnt know with my scheldule, if I could make it that day or not until the week of. I am not sure if you did this last year or not but I remember my dad seen a lot of evo in the high desert one time and some people were taking pics of his car (it is a red 1g) and he asked me if i knew what it was for. But anyway, if this does happen, pm me or something and if I can make it, I will be there.
