Hello all evo owners.

I currenlty need some work done on my evo, I need to replace the tcase and cant do it at my house due to city regulations. Ive been looking for a good shop to have this tcase replaced so like a good evo owner I contacted Road Race Engin. and spoke to sime guy there who quoted about 320 but for the RR. I thanked the guy and that was that.

A week later im still looking into finding other good evo shops here in LA but cant seem to locate on so I contact them again and oh no was the guy rude over the phone. I asked what the price would be for an RR on a tcase and the guy on the phone was like we only speak English here, I guess he wanted me to say transfer case and remove/reinstall. Well after that nonsense he quoted me a price of 350, I then asked if the prices are firm because I had gotten a different quite from some one else, I asked if this included the diaqueen fluid or not. Again he got all rude on the phone stating that 30 bucks wouldnt make or break the deal. He then told me with the fluid it would be about 370.00 all together. He advised me he would need to call me back in 30 mins and let me know if he they are available for this Friday, this was on Monday it is now Wednesday.

Now I wouldnt mind if the price if they werent all rude to me making over the phone and I did have my clutch replaced by RRE about 6 months ago but I noticed they lost my downpipe exhaust bolt w/spring, I just noticed this as I upgraded to an 05 Mr turbo and HKS Downpipe.

So my big thing is wow this cant be the only shop that works on tunes evos in the greater LA area, really cmon now but if you guys know of a good overall shop who does similar work as these guys and aren't DICS then LMK I am open to check any other tuner shops that have Evo tuning Knowledge. Thanks a million.

I also think that Tuning Technologies in Colton is one of the best EVO tuning shops around the So Cal area. Got my ACT clutch and Walboro fuel pump installed as well as my ride tuned on their AWD dyno by Alfred and I couldn't be more happy with how my car performs now. Aslo their customer service is top notch! TT FTW

 

Thanks everyone for all the INFO. I will be contacting most of these places you guys suggested and hopefully will have my Tcase replaced and BAM back to driving my baby. Awwww cant wait!!!
