I just moved from Toronto to LA, Cali.

Does anyone know about car shows around LA?

Only shows I could find is hotrod and classic.

never been to a car show like that, but seen pics from Hot Import Nights.... Ya i wanna go to the next one!
Calabasas huh? i use to work in Agoura, and i live right over the mountain in Simi Valley.
Also SCLC.net has a little lancer meet here in socal atleast once a month. Not too many ppl on it, but still fun.

its cause you are going the wrong direction. if you went south from calabasas youd see some...
north of calabasas theres like 8 of us until you get to camarillo, and then theres another 8.
theres probably another 8 out in simi.

lancers i dont pay much mind too out in the 805 cause no one that has one out there is into modding them at all. evos are too ghetto for the 805.

 

Haha, that seems way too true. People out here are way to into driving either their BMW's, Mercedes, Lexus'... or 90 civics. I would really like to meet more ppl out here that have Mitsu's, a few of the people that i have sold or bought stuff from locally have kinda been douches

ive lived out there for 20 years... the people never change.

there seems to be a new set of evo guys that have popped up in the oxnard/camarillo/channel islands area... havent met any of them.
theres a few good evo guys in thousand oaks that have been around since like 03/04... and then i kinda keep with the guys in the valley/west la.

havent ever met any lancer guys. kinda weird now that i think about it.

 

There are only a few of us around here that mod our lancers, i have a full 16g turbo that is going to be going in as soon as i can find someone out here that will weld a 4g94 flange to an evo mani.
Another turbo'd lancer in oxnard, and a few in SD. Its kinda weird how it seems that the Lancer, and Evo guys don't interact more.

I know what you mean. Driving a Lancer is like driving an exotic car. You don't see then on the road.

I drove from Toronto to Cali and probably saw 1 or 2 Lancer. When I was Toronto, a guy came up to me and said nice car! Is it a Scion?

I guess lots of people haven’t seen a Lancer before.

Haha, thats pretty good. They are really good cars, and can take a hell of a beating, i don't understand why more people don't drive them.

Ya i wanna go down to MOD, trying to find a caravan to tag along with. There is a thread up on SoCalEvo.net about a meeting in porter ranch at like 7:30, or a few lancer guys from SCLC.net were talking about cruising down together
