Hey everyone Im moving down Edwards AFB this week and Will be living in Lancaster havnt seen much activity on Socalevo about this area just checking if there were any evo's around and if there are any meets? Definitely looking forward to going to willow springs alot since its so close!!!!

I think there are a few 8 and 9's around and there are usually at least a few at any high performance driving event at Willow.

I was leaving Edwards on Fri at around 1600L and was treated to a few acceleration tests by a white, Evo VI Tommi Makinen edition with Florida plates.

 

Thanks alot, I saw a black 9 at the gym today and a White 8 by base ops the White Evo 6 belongs to a guy in EOD hes friends with one of my coworkers

I flew down that way about a year ago....It was nice to see all the cars we only dream about here in the states

 

I live in Rosamond but dont have own an evo yet a boosted Mirage. Every weds from 6-10 @ willow they have street legal drags on an 1/8mi, you should come out.

 

Thanks alot man yeah I just heard about it from one of the guys on base with a supercharged Z I will definitely be there next wednesday, Is there any other meets like on the weekends around the surrounding area?

Not really any meets per say. Like the poster above said 1/4 miles are at willow on Wednesdays. Why they don't do this on a Friday I'll never understand.

I have a 03 WW. Nothing fancy but gets the job done for me.

Otown has money to burn no pun intended. Lots of good stuff on that car. There are a good number of Evos in the AV area. I know of a minimum of 4 people on base who own them. It's not LA but it's a good start.

Socalevo is your best bet for the local info. This site is mainly for stuff back East for the most part.

Damned I just noticed in your sig you say your car has in excess of 400 HP! Not bad at all! What do you have done to it? You sure aren't getting that on pump are you?

Where are you working at? Do you by chance have a TB? Saw one the other day that I didn't recognize .

Hey matt, Ive seen your evo before at Tuning Tech looks good, and Cal City Evo I think i saw you about 2 weeks back by base ops. I have an Apex Silver 9 MR SE with a Cuban Flag. I work right on the flight line as well I fly on the C-17 Globemaster cargo plane. I saw a TB 9 by the gym the other day and then Ive seen the Evo 6.5 TME as well he works at EOD. I go on SoCalEvo all the time but never see anything about Evo's here at edwards or the AV....and yeah that on pump..gotta love Alfred!!!!!
