Make the trip to the bay area if you need really technical work done. I wouldnt trust any shop in reno with my car.

Reno sucks *****. Every tuning shop here is a joke. Red Sun Auto Salon, N.E.A.C., and that one other place have no clue what they're doing. My brother is doing all my work, as he has fully built a couple of honda motors, so he has techinical experience. Plus, the 2 lifts in my garage are a bonus ^_^
Just make the drive to a couple places in sac, like D2 or Motorsport Dynamics.
When I do my cams, I'm doing the drive to the bay area to get it tuned by WORKS. w00t.
Can't wait to see everyone on saturday!

If I was to do it all again. I still would get it tuned with vishnu. He was a nice guy and tuned it within 5 dyno pulls and he knows his stuff. If I was to buy parts I would talked to Speed Element. I have talked to Devin at SE and he was the most helpful guy on what to do and good on prices also.
What about Gruppe-s doing the install, anyone deal with them at all? I just don't want to get raped for install cost. I'll check into Speed Element to get the parts I'm lookin for. I appreciate all the help guys! By the way, stopped into IVM (Infinite Velocity Motorsports) today, talk about evo haters, the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I was in and out of the there in about 3 minutes.
Yeah IVM is a v8 muscle car shop for the most part...lol. Gruppe-S was good a while back, my buddy got his GT30 tuned there but he made really weak power, I dunno if it was his car or the tuning so I can't really comment. From what I've been reading, it sounds like their labor/tuning has been slipping in terms of top tier quality. For ordering parts it seems hit or miss. I've read bad and good things. I think there are better options out there for you, depending on what you need. Speed Element is really trying to make a name for themselves with top notch customer service, great deals on parts, and affordable tuning. I've yet to hear any negative comments about them. They've been getting great results with ECUflash, check out their IX in the ecuflash forum, it made 310whp on a mustang dyno with very minimal mods.
