I tried to bring it up for Hot August Nights, but I couldn't find what I was looking for up there. I've heard rumors of big money battles up there during that time, and was not bringing the car all the way up there without some money to be made. I couldn't seem to find the "right" people to talk to, so I didn't bother. For the life of me I can't understand why people race $100,000+ cars and risk wrecking or blowing them up without some skin in the game. In Chicago's underground scene, back when I lived there, you NEVER raced without something on the line. I don't know how it is now, but the Vegas underground scene sucks.

I hear you there, if you're going to risk it all you better have some kind of incentive otherwise why even bother. On a side note, I'm selling my Viper soon and then I'll be looking for another Supra or possibly a GT-R if I can't find the "perfect" one. Now that we're neighbors you should sell me the black one for around $70k!

Sold it for $47,000. The guy who bought it didn't haggle me one cent and flew down the next day. I knew I could have held out and got at least middle 50's but I had another car on the way and needed to move it quickly. Too many people are unrealistic with what they want and end up dropping it and dropping it, and dropping it, until they are finally down to a point where if it was priced there to begin with, they would have sold it in a week or less. I wanted it gone and I had it sold in 3 days.
As for the black one, the car has over $160,000 into it, and has more one of a kind parts than I can even count. If Dana at VWR and I were not friends, the car would have run more like $185,000 complete. I won't part with it for less than $100,000 wire transfer, or maybe a HINT less with a briefcase of greenbacks in hand.
