will 17x7 or 17x9 rims fit on a evo ? i was told it wouldnt and also that i cant put 2 different size rims on a evo because its awd ?

17X7 wouldn't be very wise to fit because the stock wheels are 17x8. 17x9 will fit although you'll have to check the offsets to make sure they clear the calipers.

Running a staggered setup is a very bad idea with an AWD car because it'll screw up the center diff.

 

i think you need to check out the evo show and shine thread so you can see what monster wheels people are running without issues and little modifications. good luck . BWT dont buy any kind of made in china wheel!

 

Remember, it is an Evo, not a Cavalier, don't put a cheap set of wheels like Rotas on and track the car....

If you plan on doing a lot of hard driving and track stuff, save up some coin for a decent set of wheels.
