Funny, I've had similar problems taking pics up there at Spring Mountain.. unless you have a real good zoom lens, your ****s gonna be far away.

someone should have asked, I have a 55-250 cannon lens you could have used.... hell I would have let someone borrow the whole camera if they really wanted to.

Kinda cool how you can see the different lines used by Aaron, Brandon, and C_Reber through the same corner.

 

Im going to pick up a new lens soon.. had my fair share of jumping around for a good position to take pics.

Q8 Thanks for the pics man! I agree, its tough to take good pics at that track unless you have a giant lens. But those are great. Just wanted a couple, so that's perfect.

I'm usually the guy taking the pictures, so it was kinda different to actually run the car and not have any photos lol. Plus all my friends were in my same run group so I didn't get any pics of the vegas contingent.

Ya it pretty much gutted me to tell ya the truth... I couldnt of prepared the car more to only have a $2 grommet on the fuel pump fail..
Only ran about 7 complete laps and of those only 3 where hot laps.
Ran a 2:38.3 on my old star specs (13k miles, 8 track days, 2 ax's lol)
Pretty certain I could have took a couple seconds off that with the new tires I had waiting for the timed sessions.
Congrats to Roger and I cant thank him enough along with Chris in helping me get the car home.
Also congrats to my best friend and roomate T. Smith for destroying the street class record by 5 seconds lol.
Now the car is going to show car status as I prepare it and give it some TLC for the SEMA show!

 

I was hanging around with Tony@UMS, and talked to Matt for a minute before i had to hit the road back to Tucson

 

Anyone know of someone who could fender roll? Spring Mountain Auto Body wont do it....
