In other news. I broke my heat/cool hvac knob today. It was already hard to turn, I guess I gave it too much torque

Hey terrible. What head unit do you have for trade?

 

Mine is hard to turn too. It's your air blend door getting stuck causing the difficulty in turning.. Was a defect on the early 8s. Gonna have to take out your hvac unit and get a new door or you'll be breaking those knobs monthly. If you want to change from heat/cool reach under the driver side of the dash near the center console and push the white arm forward or backward. Not really accessible while driving but it works

 

I don't have very much preload on my wastegate so it will peak 25 and hold about 22. I need headstuds to be safe. I'll be starting a new thread for the build very soon.

 

so have you tried to fix yours already ? i mean do you have the part number of what it needs to be replaced with? mine has that problem but i usually reach under and do what it needs while i turn the knob. My knob hasnt broke but i bent the linkage that moves that arm.

 

yeah , that was not me. i have an evo 8 tom's ins the IX. plus those guys know im not stock so i wouldnt claim that or theyll get all hurt

Yeah mines always been a pita, today I got a little mad at it and broke the white knob . The interior looks like crap now
