That's pretty true. I know I have a bigger turbo, but I was blowing coil packs like crazy on that 35r turbo before I got the cop system.

dynoflash made over 1000hp with the stock coils,not sure if his dyno had adjusted correction factors , this was like 2 years ago

I just bought some GSC S2 cams.... going to pick up springs and retainers when I can. I was just curious what people in the community were doing or what would be safe.

i rev past 9k every gear in my honda. . . . . oh wait haha. wrong forum. . the only gear i rev out in the evo is 4th gear on my evo8 thats the top of the 1/4 mile with my stock 5 speed trans

It doesn't matter what cam you run. If you want to run over 8k without floating a valve, you should have springs and retainers.

I'm pretty certain the most he made on stock coils was about 650-700. That was with a HKS twin power ignition pack though.
