I'm new to the area and just wanted to say hi. I'm Air Force and just moved from the Tokyo area to Vegas, and will be working at Creech.
My wife and I just got a WW 2011 Evo X GSR, I've been on the site for a while so I'm not new to evo's. Actually this is my 4th one, well it's more my wife's car. I've had a IX, IV, and I brought my TME back from Japan(not street legal though). So that's why the new one is for her. My car will be track only so I would really to know when/where track days, autocrosses, or amatuer time attack events etc. are in the area. I'm staying at Nellis till I close on my soon to be home and look forward to my time in Vegas. Here are a couple quick pics of the cars. My name is Gabe BTW

Anyone down for a Mt Charleston cruise in the next month? Maybe after Christmas and New Years...?

Let's set up a date for that cruise!! I have to ask for a Saturday off way in advance nowadays.
Sundays I'm good to go all day though! (I'd be driving while Eric got all the good shots on the road)
Mount Charleston would be awesome! Though, a majority of us who went last year will really have to rethink their wardrobes. If I remember correctly, a bunch of us were in flip flops and shorts in the snow haha

I will bring some of my camera gear for a real photoshoot....for a small pay.

Yeeeea last years trip to mt charleston was a bit cold. I remember we changed our location mid cruise and went up there. I'll have to think about regapping the plugs before we go then. I remember having some problems getting up that mountain last year at higher altitudes. Fuel cuts!
Oh and.. let's wait till after the holidays. Getting time off right now will be tough.

So no date yet? I guess we're looking for a sunday would Dec. 18 work? Its about two weeks out so I'm assuming thats plenty of time for everyone to get off. Its the sunday before all the holidays... how about it anyone down for dec 18?
