Justin, just clear your DTCs right before smog and you be 100% okay. I smogged the EVO twice with no cat and had zero issues.

 

I am moving down this way from WA state. How is the "scene"? The Speedway ever have events - drag or autocross type stuff? How is the theft? What do ya'll pay for insurance? Any good shops you Las Vegas people can recommend to get work done?

When I say here I mean Las Vegas area! The state is good size, worth clarifying I suppose

There are numerous Drag race, autocross, and rally events in Las Vegas, at the speed way. Insurance kinda varies. I pay less than $130 for my 2003 VIII.

I've never heard of any thefts in the Vegas evo community. There are quite a few shops umm. I'm not sure what ones to recommend personally.

As far as the scene, we have a Evo meet every 2 weeks on thursday, and several cruises through the year. There's also a huge car meet hosted by ***u Burger every Wednesday, and there are other car meets that happen through the week that I don't really know the details of. Oh, and we also have SEMA.

The "scene" out here is far from quiet. ^, ,^
