Meet and Drive from Phoenix to Sedonna&Flagstaff via 89a
We have some people getting together with various cars for a day drive from Phoenix to Flagstaff via SR 69 and 89a, but I was hoping for some more Evos.
Here are the specifics. Let me know if you are interested.
We will be starting at the Wafflehouse 2516 W. Bell Rd Phoenix. 11/22/03 7:30am. We will go North on I17 and exit at Cordes Junction. Travel West on SR69 to Prescott/Prescott Valley. Refuel and break in Prescott Valley. Take 89a North to Jerome.
We will probably stop in Jerome for a break. Then continue North on 89a to Sedonna via Cottonwood. Take a break in Sedonna and then off to Oak Creek Canyon. Next stop will be Flagstaff.
Final stop will be the Hilton Hotel at 350 West Forest Meadows St., Flagstaff.
I am going to try to get a discounted rate at the Hilton in Flag, but I will need to get a hard count of the people who are planning on staying up in Flagstaff Saturday night. I know for one I will prob be pretty tired to drive back that night.
Also if people are interested we could grab some dinner. The options are endless.
Side note. I suggest people try to get their hands on some hand held two way radios, similar to the Motorola Talkabouts (other brands should be compatible as long as they can change channels and codes). We can all synch up at the starting point on channels and etc.

OK, see everyone tomorrow morning Satruday 7:30am at the Wafflehouse and then we will meet additional drivers approximately 9:00am at Frys in Prescott Valley. Looks like we are going to have a good turnout.
If you plan on eating try to get there early, because we will be leaving at 7:30am.
Don't forget your radios. We will determine channels and codes that morning.
