my thought was to get a piece of flat bar stock that is say 1/8-1/4 inch thick and bolt that to the 4 seat brackets and the just mount the seat and the slide assembly to the bar stock only 3 inches back and see if that is strong enough. I weld so making the jig is not the problem, making it look good could be?

2 inches back may bend the front brackets but let me look at it tomorrow at the shop okay.

It may not need extending and just drilling another hole and repositioning the new rear holes and bying a new nut and bolt.. We will see tomorrow. a flat bar add on may do the trick as well..

hang in there

Are they still available? This is for both front seats, right, not just the driver seat?

Thanks.
