SoCalEvo.net Meet #6
Richard, I believe it was 43... one more (Silver) rolled in just as we were about to leave for the photo spot, Rob looked at me and said that was a new one, and that made 43, then he greeted him and told him to go shake your hand and then he was off.

Yeah Vegasboy...we would love to have you!! Bring out any other peeps from sin city that you know as well. You can have a Vegas convoy...and I thought Noel drove far from San Diego heheheh.
liar you are definitely a liar...
Carphoto,
Are you on crack? You had nothing whatsoever to to with this event and then you won't even share pics with the site... Then you take credit?!!!
Don't ever take credit for something that you had no part in and expect to show at a socalevo event again.
You were bsing at the restaurant too. WTF?!!

Please don't forget the one who usually does most of the legwork---Jimmy (reheat) he and Rob are the bomb. I just have a decent idea or two every once in awhile. I guess a blind groundhog roots up an accorn every once in awhile hehehe.
I hope I'm not stepping on too many people's toes here, but this seems to show who suggested the site in the first place... even though I have to admit that I got sick of him flaunting how proud he was about it all day long. No offense, and it was a good site, but you only had to tell me once.

Yes that's true. Chris is proud of his suggestion of Fuddruckers, saying that the location's centrality (is that a word?) helped attendance... which could very well be true. I know I hate driving more than 2 hours to any meet.
And yeah, that was a nice idea for the pic Richard! I've driven there for snow skiing in the past, but never even thought of what it's like when it's not snowing.

How we reached the decision for meet #6 location can be seen in this thread http://forums.socalevo.net/viewtopic.php?t=380
Basically, we got suggestions of serveral different locations for meet #6, including Fuddruckers suggested by carphoto.net. But the main reason why this location was chosen was because Rich was strongly rooting for it, and convinced everyone that this is the best location for meet #6. So I tried to ask carphoto.net about the parking situation there but got no reply after several days. So I got tired of waiting and drove down to Pasadena one night to check out the meet location and made sure it has a big enough parking lot. Then I talked to Rich and Rob to make the final decision on the location, and Rich called the manager to confirm it.
I think carphoto.net deserve credit for suggesting the meet location. But Rich deserve most of the credit for getting this meet set at this location, and ALL of the credit for picking the awesome photo spot (which I think is what Mark is refering to in his original post)
Anyways, everybody that went to the meet contributed and deserve credit for making this biggest Evo meet in the country a great success. Now let's try direct our energy to make our future meets even better!

You guys are actually fighting over who gets the credit? Wasn't the meet a great turnout? Wasn't that what all it matters?
WOW...
Hopefully I can make it the next time, don't drive too fast or I'll be left behind...
