I'm getting my Exedy Hyper Single Clutch Kit installed at a local shop. Cost for labor is $825. Getting charged for 8 hours even though the mechanic said it could probably take up to 13 hrs. They installed a Exedy twin the other week into a NSX. Got the clutch kit brand new for $1000.

Yikes! I guess Hawaii really is more expensive. Anywhere else that's a $400 job.

I did mine myself in my garage on the ground. Actually I had to do it twice cause the throw out bearing came out of the clip thing that holds it to the clutch. The key is having a slide hammer to get the output shaft from the xfer case out. I followed the walkthrough in the installations section and it was a big help. Oh the first time actual man hours was about 13 but the second time I think I did it in about 6.

when i did my escort gt, it took me almost 12 hours to do my clutch. wheels, axles, half shafts all ame off. also had to unbolt motor and the lift one corner then drop the other. i'm never doing another fwd clutch again unless it's in a garage, p

referably w/ a lift. since i likve in an apartment now, i don't see myself doing the evo any time soon ( i hope).

I had a slight problem with ISA server (firewall) stealing the IP port from the web server upon a reboot due to a binding order issue. Even with this outage, we have enjoyed extremely good uptime over the year.
