need your help guys, i will be moving to back to hawaii in the next few months...

what are the emisions testing like for moded cars? oh moving to oahu? how should i go about registering the car?

 

there is no emisions testing in hawaii. for modded cars there is whats called a reconstuction permit that you are supposed to get but most don't because its a pain to get. in order to register the car you just go to a inspection point, usually a gas station. you will probably have to get a hook-up if you are other than stock. good luck its kind of a pain in the ***......check out evo808.com to get some more help.

hey whats up? im moving out to OAHU in May...curious to know if there are alot of evos out there. i will be bringing mine with. also what is the fastest evo on the island...just curious. i know there are alot of fast *** supras and hondas out there but you dont hear too much about the evos.

 

hey guys, kinda new here. just wondering if you guys had encounter the "asc/abs service required"? any suggestion? besides getting ripped off the dealership. can't find any fix or how to's in forums. btw this is for evo x

 

No real way to tell what is going on without pulling the codes and searching from there honestly. I suggest going to facebook... Search 808evo (the open community page) and have someone pull the codes for you

i got a black 2010 evo X...anyone live downtown that has a port scanner that code help me check/clear the check engine light. I went through this morning pulling my engine bay apart to see if I had a coolant leak after putting it all back together my check engine light is on. And i keep having to top off my overflow tank gonna go another day and see if it keeps dropping.
