I think I'll be meeting you guys at Vishnu that day. What time should I get there? Put me down for a dyno run, I have the Stage 0 kit on my car tuned by Shiv.

The hope is to meet up at 11am and then leave around 11.30 - 11.45. It should take us about 45minutes to get to Vishnu. So my best guess is 12.30 - 1pm would be a good time to meet up at Vishnu.

Is that going to leave enough time to do all the tuning?

Well I would certainly hope so. You should probably talk to Shiv if you want to be there earlier.

We have one spot left for a custom Xflash tune. Obviously the 24th is coming up shortly, so if you are interested in getting a new custom tuned Xflash, I highly recommend letting me know ASAP. This is the perfect time to get it since you will be saving 100$.

discounds on Xede + dyno (no tune)?

i will probably come home from college and come to the dyno day. probably base line, and not xede + dyno(but please get back to me on the price). i will need to get back to you on that one.

This is actually for the Xflash (with a custom tune on the dyno), not the Xede. But I am sure you can talk to Shiv and figure out something regarding the Xede if you would like.

Xflash is 495$, versus the usual 595$. Dyno runs are 75$ - the difference being here is that it is not merely 3 dyno pulls and then you get your print out. Instead, you get as many pulls as it takes to get a consistant result, beit 3 or 10 pulls.

Okay, here is the word on the Xede and Xflash. I talked to Brett today and he told me that basically it is 100$ off of the Xede if purchased on the dyno day along with the Xflash. So instead of being 995$ for both, it is actually 895$ for both. I double checked with Brett to make sure I've got my story straight and apparently I do. So, if you are interested in the combination but have been holding out, this looks like it would be a good opportunity to get both the Xede and Xflash simultaneously.

I wanted to address something about the drive before we actually went on it.

Calaveras has a few blind turns and some very sharp turns as well. There are spots that lack an adequate guard railing, so if you do go on the drive, make sure to drive SMART. Do not drive fast, do not drive over your ability nor over the ability of someone in front of you. We don't want accidents and we certainly do not want anyone to hurt their car, someone else, or themselves. Basically, don't drive fast! Have a good time taking the twisties and the sharp turns, but by no means - DO NOT SPEED. Seriously, these drop offs can be very high and the chance for fatility can be high, but can obviously be avoided as long as you drive smart.

And if you didn't read this, no worries - I am going to reiterate it again on the day of the drive. We all want this to go smoothly and want to make sure that everyone has a good time. If you think you are going to drive fast and try to drift around turns, do me a favor and just skip the drive and go to Vishnu Tuning instead.

if it dont rain ill go to check out some cars.. look for all black 95 gsx with black rims and fmic.. but dont look like a 95.. but a 99 .. bling

edit: i posted this on dsmtuners.. hope yall dont mind.. u shoudl respect the OG 4g63 tuners haha jk..

now if there happens to be anyone interested in the dSM group to dyno. would they be able to join in? and for those who dont wanna go on the drive up to calaveras.. wat time is everybody meeting up at Vishnu?

why dont u have the cruise/drive AFTER meeting up at vishnu? sounds a lot easier as far as keeping everybody as a group wen meeting up at mccarthy..

Problem is that tuning, reflashes, dyno runs takes HOURS while the drive and mini meet are at best 2 hours. So, I found it easier to just do a drive and then meet up afterwards to relax, talk etc.

If this doesn't work out doing it in this order, then next time we will definitely do it the other way around.

I would suspect we would meet up at Vishnu Tuning at around 1pm at the latest.

And everyone is more than welcome to show up! I got a message from an IS300 owner who frequents this board who told me that he wants to be there and that he might bring along friends for the ride. AND I invited some of my old Nissan 300zx friends, but I am not so sure how many of them want to be outclassed around the corners by the lighter and more nimble Evos.

And just an FYI - all 5 dyno run slots are full.
